André Jäger is a Cinematographer based in Berlin. His passion is telling stories by creating powerful visual images, always striving to find the right look and feel that can best carry each unique film. André loves the collaborative aspect of filmmaking and once committed he dedicates his whole enthusiasm and experience to a project from the very beginning to the end.
 
Born 1977 in Cologne, Germany, André developed a passion for photography from a very early age, which later turned into a love of moving images. Since receiving his BA in Cinematography from the prestigious Dutch Film Academy in Amsterdam in 2007 he has worked as a DoP for drama, documentary, TV and commercial productions around Europe. He is also an accomplished Steadicam-operator.
 
Some of André’s projects include PHENOMS, a groundbreaking epic documentary series that premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and attracted an international audience of millions on FOX Sports in 2018; YOUNG WRESTLERS, a docudrama that won a Special Mention at the Berlinale in 2016; MAX & BILLY’S DRILL MACHINE GIRL, an innovative multiplatform drama series that received an International Digital Emmy® Award nomination in 2014.
 
André is a native German speaker who is fluent in English and Dutch and has a working knowledge of French and Spanish.
